The San Joaquin County Bar Foundation and the SJCBA Honorable Frank Kim Asian/Pacific Islanders Section are proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 Clarence Chan Scholarship. This scholarship supports students who are passionate about the legal field and committed to giving back to the San Joaquin County community.

In observance of Memorial Day, SJCBA will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 27.

April 14, 2025: The Judicial Fairness Coalition, in collaboration with the Sacramento Valley Chapter of ABOTA, California Lawyers Association & Foundation, and McGeorge School of Law, invites you to the 2025 Town Hall Series—a critical discussion on the role of the judiciary in a democratic society. This series is designed to inform the public about the judicial branch and how our justice system was built to remain independent, impartial, and fair to all—free from political influence.
